Children In Service is an ongoing program focused on empowering children by providing opportunities for direct experience and actualized understanding of Peacemaking, Community-building, Authentic Service. This program offers a space for children to be loved and respected, removing boundaries of judgment and limitation to allow the child to be free and creative in a safe environment.

In response to the rise of incidences of children growing up without consistent role models and community support, Children In Service is an effort to cultivate Unity Consciousness and self-awareness in our children. World peace lies in the hands of the youth. It is our privilege and opportunity to spend time with the youth, to learn from their perspectives and help to open doors of understanding in their consciousness.

Children In Service provides creative ways that even very young children can begin to experience the reward of service to others. From art projects to share with the elderly, to cleaning up our natural surroundings and encouraging environmental stewardship, the activities in this program inspire creativity and self-esteem while focusing on how to respect and love others, serve those in greater need, and cultivate a joy of cooperation. The resulting awareness transfers to their daily lives in profound and transformative ways. As a result, children are offered the much-needed opportunities for direct experience of being an active and important part of a community engaged in service to the whole.

We are devoted to serving every family and each child that comes to our door. Every child has the potential to live with an open heart in service to the whole, and if this potential is realized, the world will certainly be a better place. Children In Service events are scheduled throughout the year, especially during the school year.
