Camp Mana is a unique model of service that supports children to preserve their authentic nature and experience an environment that is created to work in unity and equality with a loving consideration of the Whole. The intention for Camp Mana is to offer a nurturing environment where children can freely express, heal and be heard: to empower all children to explore the Essence of who they are.
Camp Mana will be held Saturday March 21 – Sunday March 22, 2009, from 9 am - 3 pm both days, in North Kohala, Hawaii. Parents, families and the community are invited to gather with the children for a closing celebration at 2 pm on March 22nd. The cost of the two day camp is $100 per child ($50 for siblings or toddlers), and scholarships are available. The Foundation welcomes contributions to sponsor children to attend camp.
Camp Mana is able to serve 50 children this year, and requires as many volunteers to facilitate the experience. If you are interested in volunteering to serve at camp, if you would like your child to attend Camp Mana, or to make a donation, please contact the Foundation at (808) 896-7748 or email heather@amalafoundation.org.
