The International Children’s Peace Exchange Program is a global movement to offer a direct and transformative experience of Authentic Unity and Peace among Youth. I.C.P.E.P. is a sustainable effort to cultivate Peace, one heart at a time, through cultural and spiritual exploration and understanding.

This program provides children from around the world with the opportunities to broaden their global view, to establish friendships that deepen their understanding of human nature and to cultivate a spirit of international peace, compassion & cooperation... inviting and empowering them to become peacemaking leaders with a focus that includes the whole of Humanity.

The children come in the summertime to Austin, Texas as guests of the Amala Foundation from remote and urban villages in developing countries and gather with local youth here in Austin to create an environment of enriching, heart-centered, community-building experiences. For the past four years, this program has been offered to children from Nigeria. This year, five Colombian children will also be a part of ICPE

P. We are excited to see this program’s borders growing as we are able to expand the offering to the children who come to share.

I.C.P.E.P. is a Community effort and is run on a volunteer basis. It takes many people to make this happen and it is an extremely enriching experience for all involved. We welcome the children as important teachers into our Community. I.C.P.E.P. is transformational for all who participate, often offering as much inspiration and new understanding to the adult volunteers as it does to the children. All are touched deeply, as hearts and minds open to celebrate the unity of humankind in service and sharing.

We are now in our fourth year of planning and fundraising for I.C.P.E.P 2008, and deeply appreciate any contributions to help expand our outreach and Service.
