We want to thank each of you for everything you do for our community, for each other, and for those we serve – you are an amazing community and we feel very blessed to be able to serve by your side. This community is stronger and has more of an impact because of each of you. Thank you.
Community Garden Installation
On April 23rd, 2011, 30+ community members, including One Village Project youth, gathered to create Amala’s first community garden. It was truly a beautiful experience. Thank you to Emily Fitzgerald of Microbial Earth Farms and Lauren Rochell of Austin Sustainable Design. Big thanks also goes out to all the local businesses and organizations that supported the effort including

- Organics By Gosh
- Natural Gardener
- Barton Springs Nursery
- Breed & Co.
- Great Outdoors
If you want to find out what a community can do, check out the before and after photos of our new garden. We are grateful to everyone who poured their hearts into making it happen.
