The amounts below will hopefully give you an idea of how much of an impact your donation will have on the amazing youth we serve in Austin and around the world. Please note that unless you choose specifically which project you want your donation to go towards, your donation will be allocated to the project and/or youth that needs it the most. Below are examples of the impact your donation can make. Please note that the Amala Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. All donations to the Amala Foundation are tax-deductible.
Provides a child in India with an education for one month, and in the process, an alternative to child labor through our Bhatti Mines School program.
Allows one refugee, immigrant or at-risk youth the opportunity to attend our annual Austin Youth Retreat which provides a safe space for them to heal from wounds of violence.
Allows one youth the opportunity to participate in our year-long Young Artists In Service program where youth offer free art lessons and create inspiring murals for communities in need in Austin.
Provides a child in India with an education for an entire year, and in the process, an alternative to child labor, through our Bhatti Mines School program.
Allows one under-served youth the opportunity to participate in our year-long One Village Project where they unite with other Austin youth to lead community service projects that benefit Austin and other communities in need.
Allows one refugee, immigrant or under-served youth the opportunity to participate in our Global Youth Peace Summit where they will be empowered to rise up as leaders for peace as they unite with 70 youth from 20+ different countries for eight days in August.
Provides refugee, immigrant and under-served youth the opportunity to participate in both the Global Youth Peace Summit as well as the year-long One Village Project.
