to do austin july 21stLooking for something to do in Austin on July 21st?  The Amala Foundation is hosting a benefit concert for the 6th Annual Global Youth Peace Summit featuring music by Ustad Nizami.

Music for the Heart, a benefit concert, will take place at the Amala Foundation Sanctuary:

$20 suggested donation. Proceeds will go to fund Naveed Ali, a Pakistani youth, who hopes to travel to the United States for the first time to participate in this year’s Global Youth Peace Summit.

Ustad Nizami is a 17th-generation musician and one of the foremost musicians from Pakistan. His performances include Classical Indian, Ghazal, Geet, Qawwali, Bhajan, Pakistani Folk & Sufi music. Nizami’s son, an 18th-generation musician, will be performing with him. Learn more at UstadNizami.com.
