Free Leaders: Youth Leadership Training Has Evolved.

Beginning January 2012, the Amala Foundation will offer an 8-week youth development program led by and in partnership with Kenya Masala and Source Consulting Group.  Youth Leadership training has evolved; it’s time for The Free Leaders™.

Using brilliantly designed initiatives and simulations to spark imagination and creativity, promote synergy, and inspire each young person, Free Leaders™ provides real-world skill development for leadership. Youth are called to their best within a learning context that translates back to their lives.

Free Leaders capitalize on proven wisdom – yet are not bound by constraints of convention. Free Leaders are expansive, with fresh viewpoints, and take effective action. Free Leaders’ minds and hearts innovate and call out the best in everyone in every moment. They express the entirety of their gifts and inspire that in others. Free Leaders have the strength to stand in integrity, regardless of circumstances.

Free Leaders™ is designed and guided by Kenya Masala and his team of exceptional facilitators. Kenya is a national organizational development consultant and trainer. As Co-Director of the Source Consulting Group, he delivers a unique blend of innovative, cutting edge information on maximizing workplace and community interactions, utilizing powerful kinesthetic experiences to drive home the learning. He facilitates training seminars, leadership development programs, outdoor adventure experiences, and educational percussion programs.  In this training, youth begin to develop this new art for leading, given the complexities of our current world. Whether they lead in their homes or community, we empower young people with leadership confidence and interpersonal brilliance.

Through direct experience, accessing Multiple Intelligences, the Free Leaders™ Series unlocks Eight Skills for exceptional leadership and empowered youth leadership development.  Youth leaders will develop awareness in these 8 areas: Emotional Intelligence, Communication, Creativity, Impeccability, Being Synergistic, Honesty, Energy & Introspection.

The combined power of these skills builds a foundation of integrity and strength, allowing youth to lead with solid awareness and fresh perspective.
