The Amala Foundation is delighted to offer our event space, including the Sanctuary, Community Center, grounds, and gardens, for your next event. Just minutes from downtown Austin, the Sanctuary Event Space is tucked under a canopy of ancient oak trees and surrounded by lush gardens. The Sanctuary is the perfect venue for celebrations like indoor & outdoor weddings, wedding and baby showers, receptions, rehearsal dinners as well as for events like memorial services, retreats, workshops and corporate events.

And here’s another reason to throw a great party: all proceeds from event space rental of the Sanctuary go to support the youth programs of the Amala Foundation.

Our beautiful event space is available Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 10am-11pm (additional hours can be booked).

I was blown away when I saw the space. It’s simply gorgeous. One wall of the room is entirely windows, looking out on a beautiful back-yard setting with massive oak trees and the most hypnotic windchimes I’ve ever heard.

The room itself has sprung hardwood floors, perfect for any type of movement, and plenty of facilitation amenities, including candles, an ipod dock, yoga mats, sitting cushions and an earthen jar water cooler."

Have a smaller gathering or workshop? Book our studio space.

While we reserve our entire grounds including our studio and community center for bigger event rentals, we do offer just our beautiful studio space for smaller workshops, classes, community gatherings and more.

Rental rate: $58/hr with 90 minute minimum
You must reserve as much time as you’ll need from load-in to load-out.

If this is your first time renting with us, you will need to submit a certificate of general liability insurance (COI) naming Amala Sanctuary as an additional insured, with a minimum per-occurrence coverage of $1,000,000, in order to secure your date.

You will also be sent a contract to sign.Single class rentals are now only available on Fri, Sat and Sun.Please select an option below to check availability and book a time slot.
